IBPS PO/MT II Allotments Hang in Balance over High Court’s Decision
The recently announced results of PO/MT III II recruitment done by IBPS have met with a legal obstacle. A writ petition filed with the Delhi High Court has resulted in the High Court passing an order that any vacancies filled up on the basis of this exams will be subject to the final judgment of the case. The excerpts from the High Court order are stated below:
“9. In the meanwhile, it is directed that if, any vacancies are filled up, which are relatable to F.Y. 2013-2014, the post filled up will be subject to the final outcome of the writ petition.”
Interestingly, this order was issued on 31 March 2014 and IBPS made no mention of it on its website till now. However, it seems that the petitioner had again approached the Court for protection against IBPS filling up its vacancies without waiting for the judgement. Therefore, now the court has directed the respondent to display the above-mentioned information on its website. A notice in this regard has just been flashed by IBPS on its website.
